A Recommendation

To Whom it may concern,

It is my pleasure to introduce Deacon Glenn and Linda Harmon; whose ministry it is to offer parish missions around the country. I had received mail for Deacon Glenn, and heard from pastors of parishes where he'd preach for some time. This past Lent we had the opportunity to host the Harmon's for our annual Lenten mission.

The number of people who attended the mission were phenomenal! Every evening there were 500-600 people in attendance and Deacon Glenn and Linda touched the hearts or our parishioners in ways that I have never experienced before. Their teaching was solidly Catholic and it was presented in a way that made real concrete sense to those who heard them. Their use of Scripture, prayer, and song was a perfect combination to elicit a prayerful response from the congregation. Their sharing of their life stories helped everyone to realize that God can, and does work in the hearts of everyone in a remarkable way.

After the celebrations of Holy Week and Easter Sunday were concluded, a number of parishioners who attended the mission contacted me to thank me for a beautiful Holy Week and Easter, and for having invited Deacon Glenn and Linda to preach this year's mission. Many people said it was the best Lent they can remember for personal, spiritual growth, and much of it was due to how they were so deeply touched by the Lenten mission.

I heartily endorse Deacon Glenn and Linda and encourage their mission outreach. I would welcome them back to preach another mission at our parish with open arms!

Who is Glenn Harmon?

Glenn Harmon walked away from a successful business career in 1992 to spread the Word of God and the Catholic Faith across America. In giving Catholic parish missions, he and his wife Linda spend an average of 40 weeks a year ministering and singing in Catholic Churches everywhere.

Deacon Glenn’s preaching, teaching, faith sharing and music will challenge, inspire, and encourage people to deepen their walk with the Lord. His message of hope, love, faith and forgiveness will bring healing and restoration to people’s lives.

In the past, Deacon Glenn has served the Diocese of Lake Charles, Louisiana as Director of the Office of Evangelization. He is the former host of the Catholic television program “The Road to Emmaus” and has written a monthly column for the Southwest Catholic.

Glenn completed his studies in Pastoral Ministries from Loyola University and was ordained a Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church on December 1, 2001.

Glenn and his wife Linda will bring a powerful message to your Catholic Church during their parish missions.
